Internal length 12.9 m, width 2.45 m, height 1.8 m, volume 56.9 m3. Internal figures, because the internal figure is the only one you can actually load into.
Every dimension that decides what you can load is an internal one, and most published dimensions are external.
External length tells you whether the vehicle fits in your yard and whether it is legal on your road. Internal length tells you how many pallets go in. The two differ by the structure of the body, and on a van that structure is not thin: a 2.55 m external width leaves 2.45 m inside once the wall build-up is accounted for, and that 100 mm is the difference between two pallets across and two pallets across with room to strap them.
Ours, inside: 12.9 m long, 2.45 m wide, 1.8 m high — 56.9 m³.

The door opening is a separate number from the internal height, and it is the one that stops a load going in.
A body can be tall inside and still have a door frame that will not take the tallest item on your pallet plan. Loading height — the height of the floor above the ground — decides whether you can work from your bay directly or need a ramp or a lift. Both change with suspension: air-ride lets you drop the deck to meet a bay that a fixed leaf pack would miss.
If you load to a fixed bay height, tell us the bay height at order rather than after delivery.
12.9 × 2.45 × 1.8 = 56.9 m³. The arithmetic is simple; what it means for loading is less so.
A van is bought by volume because you run out of space long before you run out of axle. Whether you actually get 56.9 m³ of use depends on how your goods stack: a load that stacks to 1.8 m fills the body, and one that stops at 1.4 m leaves a fifth of what you paid for empty above it.
That is why the height figure is worth more attention than the length figure. If your packaging is fixed and your stack height is fixed, work out the usable volume before you compare trailers on length.
