Steel coil trailer with a recessed well and adjustable coil clamps, sized for coils up to 1.9 m in diameter.
Coils, not logs. This trailer is built for one job: moving steel coil, eye-to-the-sky or eye-to-the-side, without the coil moving on you.
The well does the work. A recessed well runs the length of the deck — 0.8 m wide and 0.13 m deep — so the coil sits down into the frame instead of on top of it. That drops the centre of gravity and takes the load path into the main beam rather than across the deck plate. Coils up to 1.9 m in diameter clear the sides.
Anti-sway clamping. The coil clamps have a 2.2 m outer diameter and can be re-sized to the coil you actually run. A clamped coil that cannot sway is the whole safety case for this trailer: a coil that shifts at speed does not stop at the headboard.
Short deck, on purpose. 8 to 9.5 m rather than 12 to 13 m. Coil is dense — the deck length that matters is the one that puts the weight over the axles, not the one that gives you the most floor.
Suspension to the duty. Leaf packs of 4, 7, 8, 10 or 13 leaves, specified against your coil weight and road. Tell us the heaviest coil and the worst road, and we will size it rather than send you the standard pack.
